Maserati celebrated its 100,000th car earlier this month with a lavish party at the Giovanni Agnelli Plant. The car in question was a 2017 white Quattroporte GranSport MY17 with a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine built by Ferrari. This particular vehicle was destined for China, which is a huge market for Maserati, but it’s also available at select locations in the United States, including Los Angeles.
The COO for the EMEA region, Alfredo Altavilla, thanked the employees of the plant, whose commitment to excellence ensures that every car that leaves the factory is assembled with the utmost attention to detail and delivers perfect performance.
He stated, “With the Levante, the Brand has now moved into the SUV segment and the ‘Maserati spirit’ has also reached the Mirafiori plant, where the Levante is produced. The men and women who work here at the Avv. Giovannie Agnelli Plant at Grugliasco are already well aware of this, because many of them mentored their Mirafiori colleagues during the production launch and build-up phases for the new Levante SUV, acting as ambassadors for the Brand’s craftsmanslike care and attention to detail.”
A Perfected Manufacturing Process Creating Incredible Cars
Besides the two plants mentioned above, Maserati has another factory at Viale Ciro Menotti in Modena, the home base of Gran Turismo and GranCabrio sports cars. With the Ghibli, the Quattroporte, and the Levante, Maserati is a player in every sector of the global luxury car market.
The Maserati brand promises luxury, beauty, design, creativity, and passion. All of these attributes are visible across the range of production. Whether it’s the iconic sports car or the brand new SUV, Maserati combines modern technology with old-world craftsmanship to create a special product that has been exquisitely designed, down to the last detail.
