The Porsche Panamera debuted in early 2009 when it took the world of luxury sedans by surprise. It stormed right into the lead, becoming the benchmark for all other rivals to beat. It was one of the first true modern four-door supercars, offering performance and luxury. It redefined the segment Germans call uber saloon, reserved for extremely fast sedans with unprecedented levels of comfort and class. Many people criticized the car’s design at first, but they changed their tune once they experienced it for themselves.
The Panamera is available with a variety of engine choices, starting from a 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel and the base 3.6 L V6 petrol, all the way to the 4.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 in the Panamera Turbo and Turbo S. The diesel is great if you’re after economy, but it’s the flagship V8 that everyone wants. Most engines came fitted with a 7-speed PDK dual clutch transmission, although some were even offered with a 6-speed manual and an older 8-speed regular Tiptronic S.
Unrivaled Performance in the 2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo
This particular model is a 2014 Panamera Turbo finished in a classic black tone exterior. It houses the same twin-turbo V8 under the hood that we mentioned earlier, producing 500 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque in this iteration. Porsche’s excellent seven-speed PDK sends power to all four wheels, making it a true rocket ship, come rain or shine. It’s equipped with a navigation system, parking sensors in the front and rear, a power moonroof and a dual-zone automatic climate control. It’s got the optional Porsche Communication Management system as well. For sale in Los Angeles, CA, it’s one of the cleanest Panameras currently on the market.
