Designed for hectic city streets and zipping through heavy traffic congestion, the Fiat Abarth has all the power and performance that makes getting on the open road a real treat.
The Man behind the Machine
The Abarth is named after Karl Abarth, nicknamed “The Scorpion.” He was a designer who believed in one goal: speed. Fiat hopes to bring this same spirit to its customers with the Abarth.
With this legendary designer in mind, Fiat went the extra mile to make sure that the Abarth lived up to its name. Its space-efficient design makes navigating busy city streets a breeze, but the power under the hood really delivers on open stretches of highway. From urban to rural conditions the Abarth is a dream to drive.
Looks are Everything
The Fiat has a widely appealing design with an aggressive front fascia. Special aerodynamic side skirts give the car a sporty look. A small spoiler mounted on the liftgate and a rear diffuser and motorsports-style splitter add to its charm while reducing downforce.
The Abarth comes in a variety of shades to suit any taste, from Bianco Perla (pearl white) to Rosso (red) to Celeste Blu (light blue). The Cabriolet also comes with a black or gray top. The soft top retracts to four preset positions, but you can adjust it to whatever level you’d like.
Small but Mighty
The Abarth conceals a 1.4L 16-valve turbo engine under its hood, giving the car 160 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque. Twin intercoolers and a high-flow air intake keep this beast running in top form. The Powertrain Control Module allows specific calibrations of the engine to optimize your horsepower to the max when you want to have a little fun.
This Fiat is designed for the track. It comes with a Torque Transfer Control System that distributes torque to give the driver maximum grip and minimal understeer. This ensures a level of handling that you don’t find on a lot of street vehicles. In Sport Mode, this system even adjusts the differentials automatically depending on the speed of travel and other factors.
A Crafted Cockpit
The Abarth’s interior is equally impressive. It features high-back bucket seats in either cloth or leather with a racing harness to buckle you in safely. Side bolsters lend additional comfort and support. A leather-wrapped steering wheel and aluminum racing pedals complete the look.
The Beats Audio Premium Sound System is available on the Fiat Abarth, which includes six speakers, an 8-inch DVC, subwoofer, and 368-watt amplifier. If that’s too much for you, the Alpine Premium Audio System comes standard on the car. Uconnect 5.0 is included in the package, featuring a 5-inch touchscreen, radio, USB port, auxiliary jack, voice command, Bluetooth, and voice text reply.
