You Heard Correctly: We Have A McLaren 675LT Coupe.

2016 McLaren 675LT Coupe

Track-focused supercars aren’t necessarily new, but there hasn’t been a pure, thrilling car like the McLaren 675LT Coupe before. Based off of the iconic 1997 McLaren F1 “Longtail,” the 675LT only knows how to do one thing: destroy a track. Besides the McLaren P1 hypercar, the 675LT Coupe is the fastest machine to wear a McLaren badge — and it isn’t for drivers that scare easily.

With only 500 models made, The Auto Gallery is absolutely delighted to have a 2016 McLaren 675LT Coupe in stock.

The McLaren 675LT Coupe Is a Force of Nature

The normal McLaren 650S isn’t a slouch. But the McLaren 675LT Coupe is in a completely different league than its contemporaries. The track-focused supercar is wider, longer, and much more aggressive than any of McLaren’s other offerings. To give the supercar maximum downforce on the track, McLaren fitted the car with a variety of vents and scoops, which are part of a carbon-fiber aerodynamics package. This makes the 675LT 220 lbs. lighter than the 650S.

McLaren’s drive to make the 675LT lighter and more of a track animal knows no bound as the automaker left no part untouched. While the carbon-fiber pieces are hard to miss, things like a contoured rear fascia, louvered plexiglass rear window, and reworked titanium exhaust outlets are touches that point towards the supercar’s incredible abilities.

With McLaren’s attention to detail and racing history, one would assume that the 675LT would have impressive figures. And it does:

  • 8-liter twin-turbocharged DOHC 32-valve V-8 engine
  • Seven-speed dual-clutch automatic with manual shifting mode
  • 666 hp @ 7,100 rpm
  • 516 lb.-ft. of torque @ 5,500 rpm
  • 2,712 lbs. curb weight rating
  • 0—60 mph in 2.7 seconds
  • 205 mph top track speed

Every time you squeeze the throttle, the 675LT Coupe will pin you into the back of the seat with an unmatched ferociousness. The supercar won’t let up in the corners either, as it’s capable of pulling impressive G forces in the bends. Words can’t describe how capable the 675LT Coupe really is, the supercar needs to be experienced to be believed.

The 2016 McLaren 675LT Is Too Rare to Stay Put

Only 500 models of the McLaren 675LT Coupe were ever built, and The Auto Gallery has one at our dealership right now. The 2016 McLaren 675LT Coupe is currently up for a special leasing option.

Finished in Chicane—dark gray—exterior with an all black interior, the 675LT Coupe comes with:

  • Meridian 4-speaker audio system
  • 19- and 20-inch wheels
  • Proactive Chassis Control
  • Carbon-ceramic front and rear brake rotors
  • 7-inch navigation touch-screen monitor
  • And much more

After one look at the 2015 McLaren 675LT, there’s no way one could mistake the supercar for anything but the track-focused beast that it is. Brave drivers that are used to hitting obscene speeds in minimal time are in for a treat with one of McLaren’s most powerful and track-worthy cars.
